The last hour of I Melt with You, is akin to that feeling you get in a plane, when the turbulence kicks into high gear, and you’re absolutely certain the plane is about to go down. You start looking at the stewardessses, trying to read their eyes for signs of distress. You’re clasping to the armrest, trying to keep yourself from grabbing on to the passenger next to you. You might have a book you’re pretending to read, trying to maintain some dignity. But you’re certain the plane is going to crash, and after 20 minutes of that feeling, the fear and adrenaline, the heart pounding, and the near tears, you might even say to yourself, “Just do it already. Just go down, plane, because I can’t bear this feeling any more. If I’m going to die, goddamnit, let’s get it over with.” It’s a completely helpless feeling, and the only thing stronger than it is your pride, you’re need to save face, not show your weakness in front of the other passenger. You put on that brave face, and you just wait for the plane to fall out of the sky. At least then, it’ll be over with.
I dislike that experience more than anything, and watching I Melt with You, it’s exactly how I felt. I wanted the bad things to happen so I wouldn’t have to suffer anymore. I couldn’t stomach the mounting dread. I know that sounds like a really elaborate way of describing a bad movie, but it’s actually something of a compliment. It’s a heavy movie. Profound is not exactly the word for it, and it’s certainly not thought provoking. I don’t know, vibram five fingers shoes , really; it just is. And I wish it wasn’t.
The director, Mark Pellington, cut his teeth on music videos during the height of music videos. It’s long, it’s torturous, it’s excruciating, and unpleasant, and banal, and difficult and, it’s nothing I’d ever revisit. It’s too overwhelming. It’s like finding a pressure point on your body that triples all of your anxiety. Like what I imagine the moment before death must feel like. It’s intense. It’s too much. It’s kind of awful. But, if you can make it past the first hour, it’s also kind of great.
Mark Pellington isn’t just a good music video director. He’s one of the very best practitioners the medium has to offer.

Directed by Ami Canaan Mann (Michael’s daughter), the story tracks two homicide cops on the hunt for a killer of women who dumps his victims in a marsh lands region scarily dubbed “the killing fields”. Mike Sounder (Worthington) is the temperamental local detective on the case, while Brian Heigh (Morgan) is a New York cop who sits as a counter to his fiery partner. Coby is a young, shy and timid boy who appeared in the 2nd chapter of One piece. When we first met Coby he was trapped as a chore boy on Alvida’s ship. He got rescued by Luffy and was present when Luffy recruited Zoro. His dream as always been to become an Admiral within the marines. After joining the marines in Eastblue he gets transfered to the Marine HQ in the GL, where he begins training under the supervision of Luffy’s grandfather, vibram five fingers shoes , ViceAdmiral Garp. When Luffy and Zoro meet him again in Water 7, his looks has completely changed. During the war we saw when Coby awoke his haki, which at the time was the CoO type.
I would have way more respect him if he became one without a devil fruit I mean Garp is probably admiral level without a fruit and he’s pretty anti-devil fruit and since he’s training them I don’t see coby getting one. And his haki has already been shown to be above average I hope he learns to control it and improves hid rokudoshu he could be incredibly fast and strong and be able to easily predict and maybe hit (if get armaments which Is highly likely since he has conquered and insane observation) logia and obviously hurt luffy with normal haki punches. I believe Coby will stay like Garp, even how boring it may sound. Seeing as he’s learning the CP9′s techniques, abercrombie and fitch , which Luffy seems to be doing aswell, cheap oakley sunglasses , I see their fight being an intense haki + said techinques kinda fight. I have big hopes for Coby, his dream is to become a marine admiral which I think he’ll become since Oda mostly makes dreams come true. But it could also be that his dream changes, or that he sees that the marines are the true “badguys” and joins Luffy instead, before or after the huge war, that is “soon” to come.
Coby getting haki during the war was the best thing for his character.Now he has a real fighting chance against Luffy.Against Coby,Luffy would always have to use the hardeneing technique,or risk getting smacked around by Coby.And he is crazy fast,mastering Soru,and he has such powerful CoO,a battle between him and Luffy would be about speed,and who can land a blow on the others weakspot.I would be pretty bummed if the WG got him a DF. His character is shaping up to be a physical fighter. His dream might change or there might be no longer the WG that we know off thanks to Dragon. But with Helempo he would get lot stronger. Both of them has potential and most important of all the drive and the resources to become very strong. But Coby would never be a match for Luffy. He would always stay 2 level behind him. Even when he improves at the rate of Luffy he is still way behind him.

About him reaching the rank of Admiral, if it ever is to happen, I see it happening at the ending of OP. I picture some sort of poetic marine ceremony, in which Luffy and crew (after Luffy becomes PK) comes sailing in to watch. Which will make Coby cry of joy, like the weakling that he is. No but that how I see it, Oda will probably think of an even better way.

Never Back Down 2 The Beatdown Movie Review

Four college freshmen happen to have the same objective – to participate (and ultimately win) the forthcoming local “Beatdown” mixed martial arts tournament. They all have their own reasons, but they all unite to train under a superb martial arts champion Case Walker (Michael Jai White).
A fantastic fighter, and a very demanding and strict coach Walker at first doesn’t want to train any students (he happens to have problems of his own: parents dead due to Katrina hurricane, he’s just out of the prison for killing a man with bare hands in a bar fight), however determined kids stay on their track, and Walker starts to prepare them for the “showdown”.
As the story develops, one of Walker’s students slips off the common path, and turns out to be a psycho, not caring about anyone (including his former friends, and Walker as well), and would stop at nothing to win the fighting tournament. He also tries to frame Walker, and all the problems find their solutions “in the steel cage”.
Michael Jai White (Case Walker) is not only the star of the film, he also directed the film – this seems to be his debut. And, I must say, this is a very solid debut for sure. White stars as Case Walker, and once again nike high heels , proves that with him being the lead, the movie gets only better. For example, the first “Undisputed” film starred Ving Rhames and Wesley Snipes, in “Undisputed 2″, it was Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins. Everyone came to conclusion that number two was better.
Same happened here – ” Never Back Down Two″ is clearly better than the original. It’s pretty much everything: the fights are better, the characters are more vivid and believable, plus White handles the role as the mentor really good. And for all you MMA fans – there’s Todd Duffee playing “Tim” one of Walker’s students, and a cameo with Big John McCarthy towards the end of the movie. I should also mention Scottie Epstein, who plays Justin (the psycho) – throughout the whole film he transformed himself from a total “Kurt Cobain” wimp into a bald, raging fighter, hungry for blood. Very believable.
The movie is never boring, entertaining, and what is mostly important in movies like this – it has great fights. For martial arts fans, this is a must see. Overall I really liked this movie and going to score it 7 out of 10.

Netflix was rebranded so that this brand name refers to online streaming of movies and shows while the mail renting program was given a separate brand identity. But for many, this change is not critical since the popularity of online rental outweighs the mail-in market.
Another familiar movie provider is Blockbuster. The company was recently purchased by Dish Network and now the two services have combined to offer subscribers a new movie option. The Blockbuster Movie Pass is a promotion that provides movies and video games streamed directly to the customers’ TV or PC. This access is something that no other satellite TV provider has been able to offer before so it will be interesting to see how smoothly the new program will run. Not only do subscribers not have to visit the Blockbuster store, they have one consolidated bill. The Movie Pass is included for 3 or 12 months depending on which package is purchased and after that, the monthly fee is added to the Dish Network bill that is already being paid.
